音楽家によるアートワーク展覧会
SILENT MUSIC EXHIBITION 2021

『SILENT MUSIC EXHIBITION 2021』とは、
現在のコロナ禍において、
たくさんのミュージシャンのライブパフォーマンスの表現が自粛制限され、
数々のライブ会場の存続も危ぶまれている状況の中、
イギリス・ブリストル在住のディレクターで陶芸家でもあるサム・タッカー(Sam Tucker) の発案
super cool drawing machine – Yuppies Musicにもとづき、
ミュージシャンが客前で歌い、楽器を演奏し音楽を奏でるという手段とはまた別の方法で表現した作品を、
普段はライブ演奏が行われるコンサート会場で展示するという企画展です。

Many musicians has not been able to perform live music and
many venues has been threatened to survive this time with covid-19 since last year.
Sam Tucker, a chairman of a booking agent Yuppies Music(super cool drawing machine – Yuppies Music),
also a ceramic artist living in Bristol in the U.K,
He has been creating an exhibition tour with musicians he works with.
It is a brilliant idea that instead of playing instruments and sing front of the audience,
all the musicians will be creating music themed artwork to express their creativity,
and the exhibition will be held in a music venues.
SILENT MUSIC EXHIBITION 2021 is inspired with his idea.
Umibe no Polka is a music venue run by Cow and Mouse ( https://www.cowandmouse.info/ ) .
They organise music events around Kobe city and beyond.
They just opened the venue in November 2020 and
the government declared emergency states in the area since January 2021
so the venue has been struggling financially.
This event will help the venue and the artists, so we will be very happy if you could take a part.
The exhibition will be open on Sunday 21st March and close on Sunday 11th April.
The idea of this exhibition has brought in by ICHI (https://ichicreations.com/),
he will be exhibit his special installation work 『 ICHI 視聴覚室 2021』
展示期間：3月21日(日) 〜 4月11日(日)
開催時間：13:00 ～ 19:00 (平日) 11:00 ～ 17:00 (土日祝)
入場料：ドネーション制 (投げ銭)
会場：海辺のポルカ（神戸市中央区東川崎町 1-5-5 神戸煉瓦倉庫 南棟C）
